In this blog I wish to cover controversial issues in environmental science, medical science and science education, as they relate to technology and society.
As a youngster, we used to have "boxing days" in which the boys of the neighborhood would take turns in boxing matches. I had a distinct advantage in that I had the longest arms. In boxing terminology this is wingspan, a metric which measures fingertip to fingertip distance of outstretched arms. Thus, I think Wingspan is a much more confidence inspiring handle for a medical science blogger than "knuckle dragger"
